Alchemy Makeup Artistry
The following is the COVIDsafe Plan for Alchemy Makeup Artistry, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to myself, any makeup artist working with Alchemy Makeup Artistry, and any clients requiring my services.

The nature of working in the hair and makeup industry, means that extra care needs to be taken at all times for the health of both client and artists working in close proximity.

Due to the ongoing changes and unknown factors of  COVID-19, conditions within these terms may be subject change as we are updated with government requirements and advice of the recommendations from state or federal health professionals.

Please read the following requirements and note that you are agreeing to adhere to and/or supply, by contracting Amanda Lissant-Clayton or other artist’s working with Alchemy Makeup Artistry.

On the day of the booking
By booking Amanda Lissant-Clayton, or any other artist via a booking through Alchemy Makeup Artistry, the client [either a private client or a production company] is agreeing to supply and adhere to the below working requirements:

* An area of 4 square meters per person is required for hair and makeup application.
Running water must be accessible on site.

* The area allocated for hair and makeup must be an isolated area, locked off from main crew traffic, public access and must not be in the same area as food and drinks.

* On bookings requiring multiple artist’s, a second room may need to be allocated, to insure that that the required amount of space per person is available.
.
* As the artist is working within close proximity to the talent and the talent may not be wearing a mask, only the one talent or person who is getting their hair or makeup done can be within the hair and makeup area at any one time.

* No personal belongings (phone, water bottle, coffee, food or script, etc)  may be placed on the makeup table at any time.

* Nobody other than the artist, will touch any of the artist’s tools or equipment, at any time, unless given permission by the artist.

*The artist will wear a mask at all times while working, and may also wear a face shield when needed.

* The artist will wear gloves whenever possible to do so without interfering with work.

 * The artist and talent/client, need to thoroughly wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap, then rinse, or use hand sanitizer, before getting into the makeup chair. This will be done in between each person.

* Talent/client will need to wear a face mask until the artist asks for the mask to be removed. Talent/client must wear a mask whenever it is reasonable to do so, after makeup application.

*10 minutes will be taken between each client to sanitise the work bench with disinfectant, remove and place used brushes into a labelled bag and set up with cleaned tools and clean brushes for the next client. This must be allocated in the schedule on all bookings, including commercial film and photographic jobs.

* Each talent/client will have an individual brush set for the duration of the job or booking . These brushes will only be used on the one person and deep cleaned by the artist at the end of the day.

*All products will be decanted onto a clean and sanitised palette or clean tissue. Strictly no double dipping of any products including powder products.

*As pencils are unable to be sanitised adequately between clients we are unable to use them. Instead of eye liners artist will use gel liners which can be decanted from a pot or tube. If the client would like to have a lip liner they must supply their own* one for the artist to use.
(*This product must be new and still in the packaging).

* No products are to be left out in the open. Lids must be on or products covered be covered at all times to avoid airborne droplets landing in products.

* Artists area will be cleaned and wiped down with sanitiser between each client. This includes the chair, table and products.

* Artists kits and bags will be wiped down and sanitised at the end of the day
