PIK järjestää purjelennon ja moottoripurjelennon esittelylentoja jälleen tänä syksynä. Lennoille ovat tervetulleita kaikki harrasteilmailusta kiinnostuneet.
Purjelennon tai moottoripurjelennon esittelylennolla pääset purjelentokoneen kyytiin kokeneen lentäjän kanssa. Ohjelmaan kuuluu teoriatunti, jossa käydään läpi purjelennon perusteet ja käytännön asioita lentopäivää varten. Teorian jälkeen pääset heti tositoimiin: lentämään kaksipaikkaisella koulukoneella huikeissa syysmaisemissa. Halutessasi pääset myös kokeilemaan koneen ohjaamista.
Sään salliessa esittelylennot järjestetään lauantaina 17.9. (suomeksi) ja 24.9. (englanniksi) (sunnuntait varapäiviä). Lentopäivä alkaa klo 10 Räyskälän lentokeskuksessa ja ohjelmaan kannattaa varata koko päivä. Kimppakyydeistä sovitaan teoriatilaisuudessa.
Pakolliset teoriatilaisuudet järjestetään torstaina 15.9. klo 18 alkaen Engine Roomissa Aalto Design Factorylla, Betonimiehenkuja 5C ja torstaina 22.9. klo 18 alkaen Kandidaattikeskuksen D-salissa. Voit varmistaa paikkasi ilmoittautumalla etukäteen tällä lomakkeella tai vaihtoehtoisesti ilmoittautumalla teoriatilaisuudessa, mutta paikkoja on rajoitetusti. PIK is offering glider and motor glider introductory flights once again this Autumn. Everyone interested in sports aviation is welcome to join.
During the introductory flight you will fly with an experienced pilot. The programme includes a theory lesson covering the basics of flying and soaring as well as practical matters for the introductory flight day. Thereafter, you're ready to feel the need for speed! You will enjoy the amazing sceneries onboard a two-seater and even test your skills at the controls.
The introductory flights are organized on Saturday Sep 17th (in Finnish) and on Saturday Sep 24th (in English), weather permitting (the flights will be moved to the following Sundays if necessary). The day begins at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Räyskälä aerospace center and you should book the whole day. We will organize carpooling at the theory sessions.
The mandatory theory session for the flights on the 24th will take place at 18:00 in Lecture Hall D in the Underdraduate Centre. Confirm your participation beforehand via this form or sign up at the theory session (spots are limited). More info via email: pik.esittelylento@gmail.com.
