Please take the time to review the titles and brief descriptions listed below to see if you or someone you would like to nominate is interested in joining the WGT Board of Directors or working with a WGT officer. Nominees must join WGT as a paid member or be a WGT member in good standing.
WE ARE SEEKING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
VICE PRESIDENT–
Assumes the duties of the president if that officer is unable or unavailable, provides tie-breaking vote as needed.
Acts on behalf of the president at their request.
MEMBERSHIP CHAIR–
The membership chair manages the membership rolls, manages membership drives, assists with communication to the membership, and provides "meet and greet" service at membership meetings.
COMMUNICATIONS CO-CHAIR–
This position may take on the Communications Chair's role in its entirety or serve as co-chairs.
The Communications Chair oversees communications to the membership and the public regarding member meetings, events, and the monthly newsletter editor. This role closely supports and coordinates with the Webmaster, Programs, and Social Media Chairs.
SOCIAL MEDIA CHAIR–
The social media chair manages and maintains the organization's social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Closely coordinates with the Communications, Webmaster, and Programs Chairs.
