The event will take place on Saturday 29 July in Uis, with the start/finish area at Brandberg Rest Camp.
It will be part of and follow the format of the standard Backyard Ultra, but fun-runners will only complete a single loop (the very first one of the day) of the 6,706 km course within a two hours time limit.
The loop route starts and ends at Brandberg Rest Camp and heads out into the conservancy on jeep track, so roughly 90% of the loop is on gravel.
Brandberg Fun Run Entry fee of N$ 150.00 includes:- access to the race course for 1 loop (i.e. 6.706 km, starting along with the main ultra event) with two hours time limit.
