Each year, the Intrepid Museum welcomes a cohort of 50 8th and 9th grade New York City girls to participate in our renowned 6-week GOALS for Girls Summer Intensive. But what makes them eligible to apply and what do they do in their 6 weeks?

This informational will go through all aspects of the program to let parents and girls know how to become a GOALS Girl, including the application and interview process, the knowledge and confidence students gain by participating in the program, the topics that are presented and the activities in which the girls take part.  

This information session is most appropriate for girls who are current 8th and 9th graders that reside in and attend school from Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx and/or Staten Island and their parents. Those who attend the December informational will receive a copy of the application before the holiday break for early access before it becomes available for all eligible students in January 2022.

Teachers who want to learn more about summer opportunities for their students are also welcomed to participate in this information session.
