The initiative aims to assist Black, African, and Caribbean families facing food insecurity, poverty, low income, or hardship by offering bi-weekly $100 grocery gift cards. Additionally, seasonal deliveries of fresh produce will be provided, made possible through NACCA's Community Garden and the generous assistance of the York Region Food Network, when available.
If you would like to volunteer for the NACCA Community Garden where we grow culturally relevant vegetables in the spring/summer months, fill out this
fillable volunteer application form and email the completed form to info@naccacommunity.ca and one of our staff members will be in touch.
All responses are voluntary and is bound by NACCA's confidentiality policy. Responses will be used for data collection/reporting purposes only. No personal information will be shared. Should you have any questions about our Food Security Program, please contact us at (905) 781-6222.
