The United 304 administration has made a recommendation to the board for a 2:00 early dismissal once day/week to allow for work on district and building initiatives. During that time, teachers would receive support as they work collaboratively with their grade level or department colleagues.
Please Note: This would replace the 1:00 SIP days that are sprinkled sporadically throughout our calendar now and the day of the week would always be the same throughout the entire year.
Also, we know that practices for 6-12 students would create a hardship and would work out a plan for students to not have to transport away from their buildings.
