The Garden Grant: grow something beautiful.
Welcome to the second application cycle of The Garden Grant. Inaugural cycle winners are announced at thegardengrant.org.

The Garden Grant is awarded to independent creators who commit to making something beautiful, defined as you wish. The Garden Grant is meant to encourage individuals with beautiful ideas, so you do NOT have to be a 501(c)(3) entity to apply.

At this time, we are prioritizing diverse applicants, so creatives who are from LGBTQIA and communities of color are encouraged to apply.

F.A.Q.

1. Who is behind this?
Maacah Davis (maacah.com)

**Note: Winners are selected by an anonymous five-member review board who are a cross-section of creative disciplines.

2. What's the catch?
If successfully funded, we want to see what you've made. That's all. We claim no ownership over your project, and you do not have to pay this back--it is neither a loan, nor an investment.

3. What kind of projects is The Garden Grant looking to support?
Expressions of joy. Compelling distractions from current global chaos. Whether that's through writing, art, videos, food sculpting, or whatever else--you are free to define that as creatively as you wish.
Unfortunately, we cannot currently fund projects that need more support than the grant's listed capacity. If your project needs more than the amount of funding than we are offering, this is not the grant for you.

4. Can I use this grant to expand on one of my existing projects?
Yes, simply show us how this will help you grow your idea.

5. I have follow up questions you haven't answered.
