To prepare for the 2021-2022 Tennis season, Coach Purkiss, Coach Baughman, and Coach Ward are hosting a pre-season “tune-up” camp the week of Monday, August 9th to Thursday, August 12th from 9:00 -12:00 at the Austin Tennis Center.

This camp is a chance to get the team together and work on fundamentals, as well as have some match play.

Camp is open exclusively to players (boys and girls) on the JV and Varsity teams during the 2020-21 season who are signed up for the tennis class for the 2021-22 school year.
Camp is also open to incoming 9th graders who have signed up for the tennis class this coming year and intend to try-out for the team.

Registration fee: $75 per camper.  The fee will pay for court costs and left-over money will be donated to the team.  To reserve a spot in the camp, please mail a check to:   Peggy Dieterich, 6308 Shoal Creek Dr West, Austin TX 78757.  Please make the check payable to “McCallum High School” with “Tennis Camp” in the memo line (Sorry that venmo and AISD finance rules are currently not compatible).

The camp is highly recommended for all players.  Missing the camp does not exclude a player from participating on the team.  Try-outs will occur after school has started.
