AYSO 98 Postseason Player Participation Permission Form
The postseason entails soccer play after the fall season and includes tournaments and all-stars.  Please complete this form by Saturday, November 20, if you would like your child to participate.  Additional information on the all-stars program can be found on the ayso98.org website and feel free to contact your player's coach if you have any questions.

Please understand this form is to only establish your commitment to participate if chosen.  It does not guarantee that your child will be chosen for a postseason team.

Players chosen will be required to follow Covid-19 protocols for youth sports.

Additional notes, please read carefully:
1.  Your player must be committed to play postseason from November through mid-March for all-stars. The all-stars season runs from early January to late February.  Depending on the team's progression, the season can extend to mid-March.
2.  Your player must be available for all practices and all games.  Any conflicts should be brought to your coach immediately.  Please note practice schedules and locations will be determined by coaches.
3.  Thanksgiving (aka. turkey) tournaments take place during Thanksgiving weekend (Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday) and are used by all-star coaches to evaluate players while playing tougher competition.  Players selected to a Thanksgiving tournament team will begin practices in November.  As there are still fall season practices, the tournament coach will work to coordinate practices with your fall season coach.
4.  Given the purpose of the Thanksgiving tournaments is to evaluate players, players who are invited to play in a Thanksgiving tournament are not guaranteed to be selected for an all-star team.

If your player is chosen for an all-star team, the fee will be $125.  A new uniform and team pictures will be included with the all-star season and not necessarily with tournaments.  Fees will be collected once placed on a team.  There are no scholarships for post season play.
