Our Scholarship Program provides BIPOC creators, female-identifying creators, LGBTQIA creators, and/or creators with disabilities access to submission fee waivers that are funded by the sponsors of this program. *TERMS & INFORMATION*
We will do a random drawing from all of the shows that apply for this program roughly every two weeks. So long as we have money in the pot, we will contact creators directly should they be selected. We will continue to add sponsors to this program throughout the year to ensure that we can offer this program to as many creators as possible.
You may submit as many projects as you like for submission fee waiver; however you may not submit a single project more than once.
You will be contacted by either Neem Basha (info@newjerseywebfest.com) or Ned Donovan (podcasts@newjerseywebfest.com), to ensure that your email isn't caught in a spam filter, please add these emails to the "allow" list on your email provider. If we contact you and do not hear back we will attempt to reach you in other ways such as DMing you on Social Media, or through a contact form on your website should you have one.
If you do not hear from us, then you are still in consideration to be randomly chosen. We will continue to give out submission fee waivers until the final deadline (June 7, 2024).
If you are selected, you will receive a submission fee waiver code that is usable for one (1) fully covered submission to the 2023 New Jersey Web Festival on FilmFreeway. Receiving a waiver does not guarantee that your work will be selected by our judges. You must abide by the Rules & Terms for submission that can be found at

For the sake of privacy, the information you provide in this form will never be shared publicly, nor will we announce who has received submission fee waivers for the sake of privacy. You are more than welcome to announce that you are the recipient of a waiver if you are chosen. The NJ WebFest takes the safety, comfort, and privacy of creators extremely seriously. This form will be internal-use only by administrative staff of the festival.
