Join UCC Translational Medicine Society on Wednesday September 29th at 7pm for their "Reading Research Workshop" event.

Following on from the great success of our workshops last year, we will once again be teaming up with the UCC Skills Centre to run a workshop explaining some of the ins and outs of research papers. This is the perfect event for medical science students of all years, especially 1st years who may have never seen a scientific paper before. They can be a tricky read, however we're hoping this workshop will demystify academic writing. Our expert teacher will be giving some tips on how to approach and extract the most important points from a paper - super useful for those pesky journal clubs! See you there!
