Manufacturing Compliance Committee (MCC) Application
Welcome! Thanks for your interest in joining the Manufacturing Compliance Committee.

The Manufacturing Compliance Committee (MCC) is independent of third-party OEMs and is made up of community members with support from the Helium Foundation. The MCC was formed to set basic standards and ensure that these minimum standards are met by the third-party manufacturers joining the Helium Network through HIP19 process.

The Committee meets monthly and has an ongoing channel for communication.

Committee Members are expected to:
- Review HIP19 applications and assess whether the maker appears to have the capital and resources to make, distribute, and support their products.
- Evaluate new components to alleviate shortages and improve network security
- Consider changes to HIP-19 and the overall Committee mandate
- Assist in sourcing, vetting, and onboarding new hardware auditors
- Participate in MCC voting and discussions, MCC calls and hearings, and the monthly Helium community call.

We welcome global applicants and conduct committee meetings in English.
