Deadline to sign up: TBD likely end of February

Before you sign up to take the local exam, make sure you can meet the criteria:

- You must be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder to compete at the national level. (If you don't mind not being able to compete at the national level, you are welcomed to take the exam!)

- Only 32 students can take the Chemistry Olympiad.  First priority will be given to current AP Chemistry students. If space is still available, second priority will go to former AP Chemistry students. If there is still space available, third priority will go to current Honors Chemistry students.

- If you are one of the top two scorers at school, you must be able to take the national exam on Saturday, April 27th at Santa Clara University at Santa Clara. If you are not available, Mrs. Cahatol will select the next highest scorer(s).

- Everyone who takes the local exam gets a certificate, but only the top two scorers move on to the next level!
