First Time At Gotta Dance?
Greetings and Blessings.
I am the founding Artistic Director of Gotta Dance which began in May of 2012. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University, finishing a double major with honors in Dance and English Literature. I am currently working my way through a Masters in Dance Studies out of Texas Tech University.
I have performed on Broadway in the European tour of 42nd Street. I’ve also performed in two tours of Japan with The American Jukebox Show and The American Country Show. One of my most enjoyable experiences was working as the Assistant and then Associate Choreographer for Hersheypark for 10 years, with shows also in Atlantic City's Plaza Hotel and at Busch Gardens, Florida.
Teaching at both Purchase University and Queensborough College for their prestigious youth programs was a great time of learning and growing. I continue to work with many studios teaching master classes and competition numbers and have worked as a sub at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan.
As Children’s Director for Graffiti Community Ministries, NYC , I was happy to help develop enrichment programs for at-risk children. Dance is a gift worth celebrating, to God be the glory!
This Fall we are offering workshops, some in an eight week format and others as a one or two time “get your feet wet” experience.
