AG Lacrosse Registration - 2023
We are excited for the 2023 AG Lacrosse Season!

*** Please register ASAP...   We need to get an accurate headcount as soon as possible for ordering gear.  If you need to hold off on payment, that's ok.  We can settle up in a few weeks...just complete the registration form so we include your son in the headcount. ***

A few notes about the season:

1-  All team communication & scheduling is handled through the SportsYou app.  If you have not done so already, please download the app and join our team using the code:  ZFJDXRAL

2-  Practices will be held on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.  First practice is February 9th.

3-  The program will have approximately 16 games.  Depending on the number of players registered, we may have 2 teams and establish rosters for games based on the experience level of the team we are playing against.  This should help provide the best experience for both seasoned players as well as newer players.  Our goal is to create the opportunity for EVERYONE to compete against appropriate competition.

4-  The SportsYou calendar has been populated with both practices and games.  Additional games may be added.

5-  Cost for the season is $350 and covers: Coach Mike's salary (all parents who help are volunteers); referees; field rental fees; balls (lots of them!); uniforms,  insurance etc etc etc.  Players will also receive shirts, shorts, and a sweatshirt to keep.  (Keep your eyes open for a 'team store' that will open in the next couple of weeks where additional spirit wear can be purchased for players and parents).

6-  AG Lacrosse operates under the umbrella of the Myers Park Mens Lacrosse program.  Please pay the $350 AG Lacrosse registration fee via Venmo to:  @MPHSLAX  -- Please note "AG Lacrosse" and your son's name in the comment field.  If Venmo asks you for the last 4 digits of the phone number, enter "5-6-7-8" (BTW... The Treasurer for the organization is Ken Hyde.  Dirk Tenzer leads the Myers Park Mens Lacrosse Board.)

7- Players will need a stick, chest protector, gloves and elbow pads.  If you do not already have a helmet, we can also supply a helmet.  Lacrosse Unlimited (in the Arboretum) has a wide selection of equipment at varying price points.  They have VERY knowledgable staff that can advise you on proper equipment and fit. (Dicks also has lacrosse equipment...but you won't get 'personalized' service...).

I understand that lacrosse is a contact sport in which injury, even serious injury, may occur and I assume all risks and hazards incidental to their participation in this program. I further release AG Lacrosse, its staff, affiliates, and the host facilities from all liability associated with my son's participation in this program. I also grant AG Lacrosse, its staff and designees, permission to seek emergency medical care for my son. I certify that my son has health insurance and agree to assume all responsibility for any medical expenses incurred. AG Lacrosse staff is not liable for any injury a player may receive during play of practices or games. AG Lacrosse staff have the right to seek/or administer proper medical attention if a player is injured.  I also agree to allow images of my child to be used in social media posts related to AG Lacrosse.
