The College of San Mateo and Teach Earth Action are co-hosting the Second Annual Bay Area Environmental Justice Assembly on Friday, December 1st, that brings together 4 key sectors--community colleges, municipalities, nonprofits, and workforce--to foster greater collaboration, improve our collective capacity to receive funding, and increase the effectiveness of our response to this crisis.
This gathering will be interactive: you will be meeting, engaging, and sharing your work and environmental priorities with people you can potentially partner with.
Together we will investigate how we can make the diamond of college-municipality-nonprofit-workforce work for climate justice. We will share tools, strategies and templates from our own experiences. We will also have students from Chabot College, College of San Mateo, and other community colleges share their research, projects, and perspectives. Our students are passionate about climate justice and eager for opportunities to work on the climate action agendas of our cities and nonprofits.
Who should attend: Managers, faculty, businesses, students, and staff from the 4 key sectors. Please bring your employees who are passionate about doing work in Sustainability and Environmental Justice.

When: Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10am to 2pm, lunch will be provided
