Embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure this March with Chef on the Road: Jharkhand, brought to you by The Locavore in collaboration with Wild Harvest and the Ekastha Foundation.
Explore the region’s vibrant culture, rich food heritage, and stunning landscapes with Chef Thomas Zacharias as your guide. Together with local communities, you'll savour incredible local food, the earthy sweetness of Mahua flowers, discover the artistry behind GI-tagged Sohrai and Khovar paintings, and experience the simplicity and beauty of tribal meals cooked in outdoor settings.
This thoughtfully curated four-day journey from March 22nd to 25th, 2025, includes moderate-difficulty treks through lush landscapes, one unforgettable night camping in the heart of the forest, and immersive time spent in villages interacting with local communities. Respecting their traditions and way of life will be an essential part of the experience. Accommodation will be on a twin-sharing basis, allowing for meaningful connections with fellow travelers.
With just 12 spots available, participants will be shortlisted based on their responses. Further trip details will be shared with shortlisted candidates, and those selected will be notified by February 20, 2025.
If this sounds like your kind of adventure, tell us a little about yourself—we can’t wait to connect!
