How did you hear about West Side Community Services/Provisions 139 pantry?

We have many volunteer needs. Please check off the areas you are most interested in supporting. *

Provisions 139 Food Pantry Restocking (variable schedule) - opportunity includes loading delivered goods into pantry, unboxing/shelving/organizing items on shelves and in freezers. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Provisions 139 Food Pantry Customer Service (11:45 a.m - 3:15 p.m. Wednesdays // 4:45 -7:15 p.m. Thursdays) - volunteer opportunities include welcoming customers to the pantry, assisting customers with shopping, and restocking/shelving items.

Decorating, cleaning, organizing, office work, generally making WSCS a welcoming place for the community (hours and activities vary)

Family Fun Fridays and other community events (hours and activities vary)

Older Adult Program (10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays) - volunteer opportunities include supporting socialization and activities for adults age 62+

After-School Child Care (2:30-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year) - volunteer opportunities include leading or assisting with academic support, recreation, and enrichment activities for youth in grades K-5. (We currently do not have a need for volunteers in this category but we can keep you on our list for future opportunities.)

Teen Program (5:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays) - volunteer opportunities include leading or supporting supervision of open gym, our weight room, and other enrichment activities (We currently do not have a need for volunteers in this category but we can keep you on our list for future opportunities.)

Community Center Reception Desk (9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Wednesdays/Fridays) - opportunity includes answering the phone/directing calls, signing guests in and out of the building, managing the front door, and responding to general inquiries.
