Help shed the light on Mental Health! The System of Care GREEN LIGHT CAMPAIGN RUNS FROM MONDAY, MAY 22nd TO SUNDAY, MAY 28th
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. York County Human Services is preparing to
display the annual Green Light Campaign at various locations around York County
from May 22 to May 28th.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness about mental health and wellness, but more importantly, to spark conversations and fight the stigma surrounding
mental health.
It is easy to participate--change your porch light green or light up your business green with lights that we provide (while supplies last). For those businesses with large windows, we have flood lights available and timers.
Last year, we lit nearly 100 businesses, schools, churches, county landmarks and residential neighborhoods green. This year, our goal is to expand our reach even more.
PLEASE RESPOND BY FRIDAY, MAY 5th, to reserve your lights. A volunteer will drop off your supplies the week of May 15th.
Feel free to contact me directly at cigo@yorkcountypa.gov or 717-324-1012, if you have any questions about the
campaign.
Thank you in advance for participating!
Regards,
Colleen Igo
