Ka Hiki Mai Leadership Application
Aloha, Students!

Thank you for your interest in the Ka Hiki Mai Leadership Program, a student-centered leadership collaboration between Chaminade University and Kapiʻolani Community College. This semester-long program is open to Kapiʻolani Community College and Chaminade University students interested in developing their leadership, networking, and communication skills to prepare for their career paths. Ka Hiki Mai Leadership students will gain career mentorship while earning a $500 stipend for participation and certificate of completion.

Students selected for the Ka Hiki Mai Leadership Program receive:
-Career Coaching
-Opportunity to collaborate and connect with students from Kapi'olani Community College & Chaminade University
-Experience working with local non-profit, private, and government organizations
-Resume Assistance

We are currently accepting applications for our Spring Session:

Spring 2024 - Deadline to Apply is January 19, 2024

Program Length: January 29 to April 15, 2024

Event Details: Virtual Roundtable Sessions (via Zoom)
- Monday, January 29th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
- Monday, February 12th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
- Monday, February 26th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
- Monday, March 11th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
- Monday,  March 25th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
- Monday,  April 15th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm

Please read through the eligibility requirements before completing this application. Eligible students must meet the following criteria:
(1) Have at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
(2) Completed at least one semester of undergraduate education by the start of the Spring 2024 Semester
(3) Be a current student at Kapiʻolani Community College or Chaminade University
(4) Be able to attend ALL scheduled Ka Hiki Mai Virtual Round Table Sessions listed above

Students accepted into the Program will receive a $500 stipend for their participation.
