This registration is for private classes to be taught in the comfort of your own home. These classes are just for you and your birth partner. All classes include a full color workbook full of information to help you make the best decision for your birth. Once your registration has been received and the deposit has been paid, you will be contacted to schedule exact dates for your class sessions. Use the options below to let me know what days/times work the best for you. I will do my best to work with your schedule and my current availability.

As your instructor I strive to make sure that you have the most up to date information and fully understand all the information that is presented in our class.

Classes that are currently offered privately are as follows:

~10 Week Comprehensive Class $800 ($100 deposit)
If you desire an unmedicated birth, are first-time parents, or are preparing for a VBAC, this class will prepare you on all levels – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Workbook included. This class series runs 25 hours and is typically taught over a 10-week period, or ten 2.5 hour sessions.

~6 Week Hospital Class $600 ($100 deposit)
This hospital class is designed for the couple who wants more. More education. More fun. More relaxation and labor practice. More information on interventions, including medicated and cesarean births. They want to be able to make informed decisions as their birth unfolds. Workbook included. This class is 15 hours in total, typically taken over six 2.5 hour sessions.

~5 Week Homebirth Class $600 ($100 deposit)
If you are planning to have your baby at home or at a freestanding birth center, this class will give you the nuts and bolts of labor. Learn what happens before, during, and after birth, as well as variations of labor and birth videos of out-of-hospital births. While comfort measures and relaxation are taught in this class series, the “Comfort Measures: Amazing Coping Strategies for Labor” workshop compliments this childbirth class nicely. Workbook included. Class time 12.5 hours, typically broken up into five 2.5 hour sessions.

~Comfort Measures Workshop $275 ($75 deposit)
This workshop is designed to help both partners build confidence for the big day. You will take in lots of relaxation, comfort measures, massage, imagery for labor, as well as communication skills for labor. This workshop does not replace a childbirth education course. The beautiful workbooks that come with this workshop are ones you will want to spend time with for the duration of the pregnancy. Class time approximately 4 hours.

~Basic Training One Day Class $375 ($100 deposit)
This one-day course is designed for the extra busy couple and is only available in person. Topics covered include basic nutrition and exercise to stay healthy and low-risk; what to expect during labor, epidurals, and cesarean section; coping techniques and comfort measures; and writing a birth plan. Course runs 7 hours with a one-hour lunch break.

~Refresher Class $195 ($95 deposit)
This is a childbirth class designed for couples planning their second (or third or fourth) natural birth. The Reboot refresher class is designed  just for you to address your particular concerns and needs for your subsequent natural births. Workbook included. Class time is approximately 3-4 hours.

~Newborn Care Class $195 ($95 deposit)
A single session class that prepares you for your coming baby with hands-on, practical, and gentle baby care for your newest family member. This class covers safe sleep, baby wearing, breastfeeding, and so much more. Our Breastfeeding: The Ultimate MRE online class is included with your live Homecoming class. Workbook included. Class time approximately 3 hours.

There may be an additional travel fee if you live more than 45 minutes driving distance for me. This fee will be discussed and will be added to the price of the chosen class on your invoice.

All classes will be scheduled once you have completed this registration form and have paid a deposit for your classes. All deposits are non-refundable if you decide to cancel your class less than 14 days before we are to begin.  In the event that I need to cancel the class series before it has started then all money paid will be refunded. All remaining balances are due at the beginning of our first session. There are no refunds after our class series has begun.  Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo and credit cards. A receipt will be provided upon request. If you need to pay using another payment method please discuss this with me ahead of time.

Please be aware that in addition to teaching childbirth classes I also work as a doula. There may be times when I am attending a birth and a class may need to be rescheduled. During the winter months we may need to reschedule a class due to inclement weather. I work hard to get the class rescheduled asap and to make it during a time that is convenient for everyone. There may be times when the best way to make up a missed class is with the online make up option. We will discuss this further during our first class to explain how that works and what situations that may become necessary.
