I am pleased to support the formation of a new Family Health Team in North York, by the "Spring Health & Friends" group associated with the Get Well Clinic and Get Well Family Health Organization.

I recognize the need for additional health resources in North York’s central neighbourhoods - Downsview, York Centre, Willowdale, and Don Valley North - as there is expected to be upwards of 280,000 people moving in over the next 30 years.

These new neighbours will be arriving from all over the world, and many will come with limited resources and no previous connection to our health care system. Moreover, there are thousands of our neighbours who are currently underserved and do not have a doctor or nurse practitioner or pharmacist to speak with about their medical concerns.

To the Ontario Ministry of Health and Ontario Health, please approve of this new Family Health Team!
