WHAT IS HULA: Hula is the traditional storytelling movement art of Hawaiʻi that honors land and nature, mythology of Hawaiʻi and Polynesia, chiefly lineage and genealogy, people and lifestyle.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Fundamentals of Hula through language, movement, history, mythology, and storytelling.
COST: Tuition free, non-credit.
MEETINGS: In-person.
WHAT TO WEAR: Bring a traditional pāʻū hula garment or full-size fabric sarong to wear if you have one.
ASSIGNMENTS: Weekly engagement through Flipgrid platform.
