6th Grade Elective Form 2022-2023
Dear Parents,

During the school year your child will take six classes:  Language Arts, Math, Social Science, Science, P.E. and one elective class.  The descriptions of the elective classes for 6th graders are included on this form.  Due to programming or scheduling options, (i.e. GATE, Honors, IEP decisions, math level) students may not be able to take their preferred elective.  In addition, based on academic performance, assessment results, IEP decisions, or 5th grade teacher recommendation your student may be assigned to a support class, study skills, strategies, or Read 180 in lieu of their chosen elective. These classes are designed to help your child have a successful transition into middle school.

Please fill out the form below and click on your student's 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.  This form is due by March 18, 2022. If we don't have a completed form for your student then their counselor will be selecting their elective for them.
