Programme Overview

This mentoring programme is designed to support and develop leaders in the For-Purpose sector across the Western BOP. Mentoring is a relationship that supports and encourages the personal leadership journey of individuals and their organisations.

  • The programme runs for 6 months, April to September

  • The programme will be on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis and will take up to 12 Mentees

  • Mentees will be matched with a Mentor whose skills and experience overlap with their current needs

  • Mentors and Mentees meet monthly (6 times), for 1-2 hours, at an agreed venue

  • Mentors and Mentees work together towards identifying focus areas and achieving goals

  • Mentoring sessions are confidential

  • Mentors will attend 2 group sessions with others on the programme at The Kollective, 17th Ave, Tauranga:

    • Beginning of April, 5pm-6.30pm- induction/networking/setting expectations

    • Beginning of October, 5pm-6.30pm - wrap-up/feedback/evaluation

  • Between this time, an online Mentor-only group will be set-up for ad-hoc networking/communication

  • The programme will be coordinated by the Mentoring Coordinator at SociaLink, Leanne Rhodes-Robinson, who is available for any assistance or support that may be required - leanne@socialink.org.nz  022-186-3595

  • Mentors and Mentees need to stay in the loop with the mentoring coordinator.
