------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This form should not be used for either of the following program change types. Instead, please follow the instructions provided:
-----GCEN to M.Eng.-----
In order to switch from a Graduate Certificate in Engineering program to a Professional Master of Engineering program, you will need to submit a new application. Please check in with our
admissions team to learn about the specific requirements you will need to fulfill.
-----M.P.S to M.Eng.-----
In order to switch from a Master of Professional Studies to a Professional Master of Engineering program, you will need to submit a new application. Please check in with our
admissions team to learn about the specific requirements you will need to fulfill.
Please note, courses taken while pursuing the MPS degree are not eligible for use towards the MEng degree.
-----M.Eng. to M.S. or Ph.D.-----Master of Science and Ph.D. programs are completely separate from the Professional Master of Engineering programs. In order to gain acceptance to an M.S./Ph.D. program, you would need to apply to that program directly. There is a chance that if you begin in the M.Eng. program, you can switch to the M.S./Ph.D., but it is not a guaranteed process, as you would still need to be accepted to the program. We would suggest reaching out to the department to see if you are admissible before making any concrete decisions regarding an M.S. program. Please keep in mind that M.S./Ph.D. programs have different deadlines, admissions processes and requirements, and different courses than the M.Eng. program.
