The Music Industry Apprenticeship is a nine-month intensive training and skill-building program designed for youth ages 16-24, particularly those who are disconnected from work or school. Guided by a one-on-one mentor, participants will receive instruction in the skills and perspectives necessary to succeed in the music industry both locally and nationally. After the initial training period, young people will be placed in part-time positions at New Orleans businesses where they will gain hands-on experience working in the industry. After several months of job training, Foundation staff will support youth in their next professional steps! Please make sure to read the full program information document here.
