Bishop Stang High School Placement Exam Registration
Use this form to pre-register to take the in-person placement exam (HSPT) at Bishop Stang on either Saturday, December 3 or 10. Please visit the Admissions page at www.bishopstang.org for additional information about the exam.

Please note, students attending a Catholic school in the Greater New Bedford area (All Saints Catholic School, St. Teresa of Calcutta School, St. Joseph School, St. Francis Xavier School) and St. Philomena School do not take the exam on either Saturday and therefore do not pre-register or pay the exam fee. Diocese of Fall River Catholic School students outside of the Greater New Bedford area may forward their HSPT exam results to be considered for the Fr. Mullaney Top Ten Scholarship. 

Payment of the $20 exam fee for those testing on campus on a Saturday, will be collected on exam day (cash or check made payable to Bishop Stang High School).

Extended Time Testing Accommodations *
Extended time testing (50% additional time) is allowed only if supported by documentation. To use the extended time accommodation, parents must submit documentation by the Wednesday prior to the exam (Nov. 30 for Dec. 3 exam; Dec.7 for Dec. 10 exam). Please contact Mrs. Nicole Dias, ndias@bishopstang.org, with questions and to forward testing accommodation documentation. My child currently receives the extended time testing accommodation for in school testing.

Request to Forward Exam Results
If your child is applying to another school that requires the HSPT results, you may request for the results to be forwarded. Please include the name of the school the results should be forwarded to along with a fax number or email address. Please note: In a typical year, the results arrive back to Bishop Stang in early January and will be forwarded as soon as possible upon their receipt.
