Operations in LARA are divided into four teams: Structures, Propulsion, Electronics & Software and Public Relations. In each team there is a team manager, who is elected at the annual meeting, and members -- perhaps you! The team manager leads the group and ensures that their team members have tasks to perform. If you'd like, you can join more than one team. It all depends on your personal interests and how eager you are to work towards LARA's mission!

STRUCTURES
In the Structures team, the focus is on the outer skin of the rocket. The team primarily works with the structural design of the rocket, for example frame, fins and nose cone. The design is developed with CAD and through the use of simulations of e.g. aerodynamics. The goal is to optimize the exterior of the rocket.

ELECTRONICS & SOFTWARE
In this team, it is the inside that counts. The Electronics & Software team works with circuits and programming. For example, the team is tasked with constructing circuits and managing sensors. If you like microcontrollers, soldering and sitting in a basement and programming, then this is the group for you.

PROPULSION
In the Propulsion team, the focus is on what makes the rocket fly, i.e rocket engines and landing systems. The members of this team designs the engines and the handles the production of fuel. Here, simulations also come into play. This team is also responsible for following regulations and laws as well as safety precautions. If you were a (reasonable) pyromaniac in your previous life, then this is the team for you.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
In the Public Relations team, you have no physical contact with the rocket. Instead, the focus is on LARA's brand. The members of this team have an appreciation for aesthetics and communication. Alternatively, if you have an interest in web development, photography, photo and video editing, then this is the team for you.
