「覺得刺繡是門很有距離感的工藝嗎？」
「又或者曾經很想嘗試看看，但始終找不到接近的勇氣？」

現在，是親手製作一件屬於自己刺繡作品的時候了！

台北國際藝術村第一季駐村藝術家Gökcen Dilek Acay，是一位相當擅長刺繡工藝的藝術家，在駐村期間也創作了許多刺繡作品。對她而言，刺繡不僅是創作語彙的表現，而是在過程中藉由手藝體現內在的聲音。藝術家有感於現在正處於一個相當動盪不安的時期，因此希望刺繡工作坊能為大家帶來美好的回憶，並一起為世界加油。

在此工作坊中，藝術家將分享她的刺繡經驗，並教導大家如何使用刺繡技法創作自己專屬的圖案，同時也會傳授一些構圖小撇步以及如何使用對應的紗線顏色。

藝術家會提供紗線，但是建議您帶上自己想要刺繡的媒材，譬如小塊的不織布、編織袋、T-Shirt或者布口罩，只要是適合刺繡的布料都可以唷！由於手工刺繡需要花費較長的時間，因此強烈建議攜帶小尺寸以及適合刺繡的媒材或布料。藝術家會提供足夠的紗線，不過如果您想要使用特殊顏色或類型的紗線，歡迎自行攜帶。

It is an embroidery workshop. The artist would like to show people how she creates an image and composition on the textile, the way using yarn, color combination to make the figure realistic, applying on the different types of surfaces creating an image with the technic stitching. Everyone can bring any kind of soft material to apply their image and the artist will offer yarn. Her first idea of the workshop was using surgery masks as a surface and creates an image with embroidery because globally we have hard times and she thought it would be a nice memory for this time of period. You can bring any desired material with you!
