معسكر أسبوع في الخليفة هو أسبوع مكثف مناسب للأطفال من سن ٧ إلى ١٣ عام. يركز على التعلم من خلال المعايشة في واحد من أقدم أحياء القاهرة التاريخية، يضم المعسكر جولات في منطقة الخليفة ومناطق أثرية محيطة وتطبيقات فنية وعلمية ولعب جماعية تنمي مهارات الاستكشاف والعمل الجماعي ومهارات فنية وحرفية وشخصية كتير!
بنقدم في النسخة الثانية من المعسكر ٤ ألعاب تفاعلية جديدة صممتها مبادرة الأثر لنا هنلعبها لأول مرة!
اليوم الأول - أكتشف الخليفة!
يوم مليان تاريخ وجغرافيا
ممكن تكون زرت منطقة الخليفة قبل كده ولعبت معانا في مبانيها، بس عمرك فكرت مين اللي بنى المباني دي وايه حكايته؟
يلا نتعرف على شخصيات الخليفة وازاي ساهموا في وصول منطقة الخليفة لشكلها الحالي! وفي آخر اليوم هنصمم مع بعض كتاب يفكرك بكل المعلومات المميزة اللي هتتعلمها معانا!
اليوم الثاني - رنوك ومماليك!
يوم ترميم وحفائر
تقدر تميز القطع الأثرية لو شفتها؟ تعرف ممكن نلاقيها فين غير المتاحف؟
طيب تعرف ان المماليك قديما كان عندهم رموز مميزة اسمها "رنوك" مرتبطة بوظيفتهم؟
يلا نكتشف مجموعة كبيرة من الرنوك في واحد من قصور المماليك في منطقة الخليفة، وندور مع بعض على الكنز الأثري ونعيش يوم في حياة مكتشفي الآثار!

تحب تتعرف على معنى المولد وعروضه وألعابه وتصنع بنفسك عروسة تحكي بيها لاصحابك عن اللي اتعلمته عن المولد؟
اليوم الرابع - بيوت الخليفة!
يوم عن العمارة والبناء
هننهي المعسكر بالتعرف على شكل البيوت القديمة اللي موجود منها أمثلة كتير في منطقة الخليفة ونتعرف مع بعض على الفرق بينها وبين بيوتنا الحالية! وهنجرب كمان بنفسنا نصمم بيت ونعمله نموذج مصغر!
السن المقترح: من 7 إلى 13 سنة.

Khalifa Mini Camp is an intensive week-long program, designed for children aged 7 to 13 years old. The camp focuses on learning through experiencing life in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Historic Cairo. Activities include tours in the streets of al-Khalifa area, visits to historic sites, artistic and scientific applications, as well as group games to develop exploration skills, teamwork, artistic and craft abilities, and various personal skills!
For the second edition of the camp, we're excited to present four new games designed by Athar Lina. These games are being played for the very first time!
Day One - Exploring al-Khalifa!
Theme: History and Geography
Have you ever explored al-Khalifa or entered one of its buildings, wondering about those who built it and the story behind its construction? Together, we learn all about the prominent figures of al-Khalifa and their role in shaping the district to its current form. Later, we'll collaboratively create a scrapbook that reflects on all the unique information we've learned throughout the game!
Day Two - Blazons and Mamluks!
Theme: Restoration and Excavation Day
Can you identify an archaeological artefact at first sight? Besides museums, can you suggest any other places where they may be located?
Did you know that the Mamluks in ancient times had distinctive symbols called blazons that were associated with their jobs? Let's discover the intricate blazons housed in one of the most prominent palaces of the Mamluk era. Unleash your inner archaeologist and discover the hidden treasure!
Day Three - El Leila El Kebira! (The Grand Night!)
Theme: Folk and Handicrafts Day
Do you know that al-Khalifa is famous for unique celebrations not commonly found elsewhere called "Mawlid"? Learn all about the traditions and festivities of celebrating the Mawlids, and share your newfound knowledge with friends through a DIY puppet for you to take home.
Day Four - Houses of al-Khalifa!
Theme: Heritage and Architecture
As we conclude the program, we'll embark on a distinctive architectural journey, exploring the traditional houses in al-Khalifa, delving into their design elements, and contrasting them with our modern living spaces. Additionally, we will work together to construct a scaled-down model of a house to put this knowledge into practice.
Recommended Age: 7 to 13 years old.
