Congressman Danny K. Davis' Back to School Caravan and Technology Mobilization
Congressman Danny K. Davis is hosting his annual Back to School Caravan.  Traditionally, the event included a picnic and parade; however, due to Covid-19, we are hosting a Back to School caravan.  All vehicles are invited to join the Back to School Caravan.

Whether young people attend school in person or via remote learning, we cannot afford to be complacent about education.  We must continue to encourage young people to stay in school and get an education.

Providing quality education is challenging during these times for students, parents, and educators.  For the past 3 years, Congressman Davis has hosted the "Technology in the Park."

With a profound understanding that children, youth, and young adults do not have access to computers and the internet, this event has provided coding, robotics, and other training to young people in Chicago's neighborhoods at the annual Back to School event.

This year, we are also asking individuals who can afford to donate computers to residents to let us know below.

The Back to School Caravan is scheduled for August 15, lining up at 8:30 a.m., and kicking off at 10:00 a.m. at Central and Bloomingdale (5600 West and 1500 North)

We will practice Social Distancing during the Back to School Caravan.
