In accordance with public health guidance, TNDC strongly encourages the community to receive FDA-approved Covid-19 vaccines and boosters, unless advised otherwise by a health care provider. We are not currently mandating Covid-19 vaccination for staff, volunteers, or program participants. However, we strongly encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to reconsider participating as a volunteer at this time.
To ensure the safety of program participants, staff, and volunteers while volunteering with TNDC, you will follow the direction and guidance of TNDC Staff including: wearing a mask, social distancing where possible, frequent hand washing/sanitizing, and wearing personal protective equipment or PPE. Please refrain from asking others about their vaccination status or plans, as some people might have medical considerations that they don't wish to share.
You acknowledge that your participation as a TNDC Volunteer is entirely voluntary and recognize that the risk of contracting COVID-19 or incurring other injuries or illnesses (which could be serious or disabling) is always present and cannot be completely eliminated. You agree to accept any and all risks of personal injury, illness, death, including related to Covid-19 contracted during the time that you are volunteering with TNDC.
