F&F Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Folk and Forage! 

As a small family-run festival, we rely on support from a dedicated crew of volunteers who help make our festival possible. Make sure to read the VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS before applying.

Please keep in mind that all volunteer shifts are first come first serve, and not all prospective volunteers may get scheduled due to limited availability. We will do our best to accommodate your top choices, and will announce volunteer assignments via email in late February!  

​All volunteers are required to participate in two shifts over the course of the festival. The only exception is if you are working a Friday or Saturday late parking or check in shift. If working one of these shifts you are only required to work one shift.

Fulfilling these requirements equals one weekend pass to Folk and Forage!

Required
All volunteers are required to work two shifts unless you work a late parking or check in shift, then only one shift is required. The late night shifts are from 5 pm to 9 pm.

All volunteers are required to participate in two shifts over the course of the festival. The only exception is if you are working a Friday or Saturday late night parking or check in shift. If working one of these shifts you are only required to work one shift. 

All volunteers are required to pay a volunteer deposit to reserve your spot and ensure that you show up for your required shifts. The volunteer deposit is $100 and can be paid via venmo or mailed as a check to confirm your volunteer spot. Payment is required to confirm your volunteer spot. Deposits are returned the week after the festival to volunteers who fulfill their volunteer assignments.

Upon arrival at Folk & Forage, all volunteers must check in at the Info Booth to be marked present and learn where to meet for your shifts. You only need to check in at the Info Booth once, and then will go to your shift location for shifts. 

Show up for your shifts clear headed and ready to work.

Check in 10 minutes before each shift at your designated location, and please arrive on time.

All volunteer shifts are 4 hrs. Remain at your assignment for the duration of the shift, unless "excused early" by your lead. Leaving shifts early or missing a shift will result in the forfeit of your volunteer deposit.

Be prepared for your shift by dressing appropriately for the task, time, and weather. We highly recommend bringing layers, a water bottle and snacks.

Folk & Forage staff reserve the right to dismiss any volunteer for inappropriate conduct. This will result in the forfeit of your volunteer deposit.
