(ICS) Absence Excuse Note
An excused absence is when a student is absent from school for a reason identified by the Network as legitimate, valid, and reasonable. Guardians are required to provide an excuse note within 3 days of the date of absence. If the school does not receive a written or electronic explanation within 3 days of the absent date in question, then that absence will stand as a permanent unexcused absence.
