DWAA Coaching Grant Form
Once you have completed your coaching course you can apply for funding from DWAA & GWAS. Please read this carefully and complete the form in its entirety before submitting. Queries can be sent to DWAA.coaching@gmail.com

Criteria

To be eligible for a grant, the individual must have met the following criteria:

●      The individual wishing to apply for a grant must be a current member of both the DWAA and GWAS.

●      You must have completed an Archery GB (AGB) recognised coaching and/or Child protection course. The individual must have successfully passed the course.

●      The applicant must have approved financial support from their club (where relevant) before any application is made to the DWAA for a grant and from the DWAA before any application is made to the GWAS for a grant.

Instructions for completing the form

●      Please fill in the course details and candidate details as indicated.

●      Ensure that any sponsor or club approved funds are sent with a supporting email prior to sending the form to the DWAA. You will need to send these separately to DWAA.coaching@gmail.com

Please clearly indicate whether the grant funds are going back to the club or the candidate and by what method, BACs or cheque, as this helps speed up the processing of the grant payment.  Where possible, please provide BACS (online bank transfer) details for the payment. It not only saves time for the Treasurers, but postage costs for both the DWAA and GWAS.

Policy

●      Any grants from the DWAA can only be considered once support has been shown by the candidate’s own club and in the case of the GWAS by both the club and the DWAA.

●      The DWAA and GWAS will normally contribute on a matching basis to each other and club to a limit of £125 (L1 and L2) each. This will normally be £75 for Level 1 and £125 for Level 2.

●      For child protection courses will be reimbursed by GWAS

●      The support from both the DWAA and GWAS for either or both will not bring the combined support level beyond the initial cost(s) of the course(s).

●      There is a limit of two candidates per club per course type (L1 and L2) per year.

●      The DWAA and GWAS will not cover travel and subsistence costs.

●      Cost of the safeguarding course will be reimbursed by GWAS.

●      An application for GWAS funding must be submitted separately using the GWAS Web link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfx6l0H9AYOwEE-CzU16QcENAcAlv7hlagaNlDA1YY3eM_ohQ/viewform

●      The submission for a grant from the DWAA will be at the discretion of the DWAA County Coaching Coordinator (CCO) and from the GWAS will be at the discretion of the GWAS Regional Coaching Officer (RCO). The approval of grants for courses will be at the discretion of the DWAA Treasurer and GWAS Treasurer for their respective grants.
