This course is intended to be a resource for you, the upcoming med school applicant, to learn more about the application process and do some intentional work on your own before consulting with an advisor. The more time you spend on the activities in this course, the more you will get out of your one-on-one appointment. And, while this course is not graded, each module has activities that will assist you to not only check your understanding of the content, but to reflect deeper, make decisions, and even take action on some aspects of the application process. Current course modules include:
Primary Application
Personal Statement
Letters of Evaluation
School Selection
Secondary Application
Students requesting access to the course will be added and encouraged to explore and complete module activities. Submissions will not be responded to directly but can be reviewed and discussed during a one-on-one advising appointment. Additional modules on other application topics are being developed and will be added throughout the next several weeks. Please email
premedadvising@wayne.edu with general questions about the course.
