Sign up closes after May 10, 2024.

Please read this information sheet and this summary of publishers hearing pitches before signing up.

One pitch appointment will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If your first choice is not available, your second choice will be assigned. If neither are available, you will be put on the waiting list in the order of your registration date. Pitch appointments are not guaranteed.

I understand that pitching is a privilege and not a right. Therefore, to make this the best experience for everyone, I agree to the following:

I will be present in-person at the conference on Thursday May 30 between 8 am and noon.

I will arrive at the designated time for my pitch session.

The book I am pitching is not already under consideration by another publisher elsewhere.

My manuscript has not been published elsewhere. (This includes self-publishing.)

If fiction, my work is complete.

If non-fiction, I have a proposal ready.

I have read the submission guidelines.

I believe I am a good match thematically and genre-wise for this publisher.

I will have a prepared pitch to share with the editor at the pitch session.

I understand that CWCL coordinators will do their best to schedule me for a pitch session, but have a limited number of slots to fill. I may not get a pitch session, and if I do it may not be with my first choice publisher.
