Universal Credit
b)
Income Support
c)
Employment and Support Allowance – Income Related (ESA(IR))
d)
Income Based Jobseeker’s Allowance
e)
The guarantee element of State Pension Credit
f)
Support under part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
g)
Child Tax Credit and/or Working Tax Credit AND have an annual income below a specific threshold
(threshold – a household income of £16,190)
h)
Fostering Allowance (paid for the child)
i)
You have a child for whom you have a Special Guardianship, Residence Order or a Child Arrangement Order
j)
Disability Living Allowance (Claimed for the child)
If your child is eligible you can start claiming free childcare after your child turns 2, depending on when their birthday is.
Children born between 1 April and 31 August will be eligible to a free place in the Autumn of term beginning on or after 1 September.
Children born between 1 September and 31 December will be eligible to a free place in the Spring term beginning on or after 1 January.
Children born between 1 January and 31 March will be eligible to a free place in the Summer term beginning on or after 1 April.
If you are not eligible for a funded place, you can still apply and the cost per session is £15 (either am or pm sessions).

Please note* Proof of address and ID (such as a birth certificate) would need to be seen should your child be offered a space.
