Greetings Brantley County Christmas Parade Participant:

Thank you for participating in the 2024 Brantley County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. The theme is TBD. Below are a few important instructions:

The parade will be on December 7, 2024. The line up will begin at the Nahunta Elementary School. Line up will begin at 12:00 pm and Judging will begin at 1:00 pm. Winners will be announced at 1:45 pm. The parade begins at 2:00 pm. There is no charge for the parade.

Candy – Please only toss candy to distribute candy to the citizens. Candy will not be allowed to be thrown from the float at high rates of speed. If so, you will not be allowed participation in the future.

Drivers – Revving of engines, swerving of vehicles, and reckless/erratic driving is strictly prohibited.  This is too dangerous with so many little children around. Drivers must be 18 years or older.

Floats - Winning floats will be presented with a prize to display during the parade.  You will be able to keep your prize.

Parade Ending - When your vehicle reaches the end of the parade route, please do not stop your vehicle on the road to disband.  If you disband at the end, please park in the old Rec Center area off of the main road, not the driveway to the jail/Sheriff’s Office.  You may return downtown by taking Florida Avenue.
