Proposed Standard (ANSI/ASB Standard 020, Standard for Validation Studies of DNA Mixtures and Development and Verification of a Laboratory's Mixture Interpretation Protocol, First Edition, 2018): QIC Impact Assessment
The Quality Infrastructure Committee (QIC) of the OSAC is conducting this survey to informally assess the impact of the proposed standard (if/when it is accepted) on forensic laboratories. All responses will be compiled into one summary statement for informational purposes without specific identifiers;  comments provided on this survey will not be adjudicated.  Please submit only one (1) survey for your laboratory/system for each proposed standard.  The standard was approved by ASB February 2018 and ANSI September 2018.  The proposal is to simply add the standard to the OSAC registry.  To review the standard and/or submit a formal comment for adjudication, click here (https://asb.aafs.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/020_Std_e1.pdf).
