Hello beautiful people! My name is Vivian Hoang (Class I) and I am currently working on my 2020-2021 Capstone project. In my project, I will be addressing how music affects social reform. In my final project, I will be creating and recording my own pieces that address social issues that have plagued us throughout our time. In my final musical piece, I would like to address the Black Lives Matter movement. As an Asian American, I feel that this piece would benefit if the lyrics came from BIPOC in the BLS community and more (including faculty). It would be greatly appreciated if you would add your emotions, thoughts, and/or words on the BLM movement in this survey so that I may include them in my song.
