National Merit Corporation recognizes students annually as finalists, semi-finalists and commended students. Each of these recognitions brings possible opportunities regarding scholarships and college admissions. There has been issues raised as to whether students at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology are being recognized and notified for being commended students.
