The Business and Leadership Institute for Early Learning 2023- 2024 Synthesizing Winning Performance Broward County & Nova Master Class
Thank you for your interest in the BLI SWP Broward County & Nova 2023-2024 Master Class Series!

The Business and Leadership Institute for Early Learning (BLI) in partnership with ELC Broward offers Synthesizing Winning Performance (SWP).  This series of Master Classes will empower you as a business professional and entrepreneur in the industry of childcare. The course is designed specifically for early learning center or home based owners, operators or educators whose programs contract with ELC Broward County. The curriculum focuses on creative business strategies with an emphasis on quality care and education.

The SWP series is divided into two parts. The first four sessions are V’Locity Master Class in which you receive 4.5 CEUs upon completion. Completion requires you to attend all four (4) sessions, held one Saturday a month, complete associated self paced work and submit a business plan that addresses your unique challenges and opportunities for success as well as responding to 2 mandatory surveys.

The second half consists of four individual sessions of additional relevant topics where you will earn CEUs for each class that you attend.

As a participant, you are also invited to attend our graduation event where you will receive your certificate of course completion.

Throughout the Master Class Series, you will work in groups and receive additional support from an assigned mentor, who is a graduate of the Institute. To further assist you, BLI conducts homework sessions as part of the Saturday workshops.

Upon completion of the program and submission of your business plan, you will be invited to meet with local agencies that may offer a continuum of business consultation at no charge to you. At that time, they will help you analyze business challenges and opportunities as well as identify next steps in implementing your business plan.

BLI is a growing community of committed small business early learning entrepreneurs.  Upon graduation, you become part of this Alumni.  As a community of BLI graduates you have the opportunity to share ideas, network and take the lead on advocating for the early learning childcare industry.  You will be invited to attend alumni programming that may take place throughout Florida. We also hope you will continue participating with us as part of our BLI Business Council or on our BLI Early Learning Conference Committee.

We will, from time to time, request that you complete surveys and / or discuss your business progress and challenges with us so that we can analyze and measure program outcomes. The information we obtain from you is confidential and helps us build our program and evaluate our impact.

Please be certain you are able to commit to attending on these dates (Broward).
