School Planning and Preparedness Refresher Training

This refresher training is for school administrators, maintenance/transportation directors , and first responders. The training will take place on August 9, 2021 from 8:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Nokomis High School. The course is free of charge.

Topics to be covered include the following:
1. Building the School Planning Team (30 minutes)
2. What are relevant hazards in the school and in the surrounding areas (30 minutes)
3. How is the school plan structured (30 minutes)
4. Special Focus : Accountability, Reunification and Public Information (60 minutes)
5. Behavioral Threat Assessment Teams (30 minutes)
