SAC New Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in joining SAC!  Please know that the following are responsibilities of a SAC member:

Membership in SAC implies a commitment on behalf of the member to participate in activities of the organization to the greatest extent possible.

An active member is encouraged, as time and opportunity allow, to:

     1.  Attend monthly SAC meetings either in-person or via video conference, be informed of the issues and vote regularly.
     2.  To volunteer and participate on SAC sub-committees or as a SAC representative on a University
          committee.
     3.  Solicit input from University staff regarding their concerns and relay those concerns to the SAC Executive
          Committee.
     4.  Inform members of the University staff about the accomplishments SAC has achieved.
     5.  Encourage University staff to attend SAC meetings and events.  

Note: For those members wishing to join SAC subcommittees or become a future SAC Executive Board member, there is a 75% attendance rule.  In other words, the member must attend at least 75% of the meetings per year either in-person or via video conference.   The time period considered is March-March.

Each academic year, SAC members are required to renew their membership. Please be on the look out for the renew notice that will be sent out next July.  (If you miss the deadline, you will be asked to complete a new membership application online through the SAC website: https://www.slu.edu/sac.)
