You made the life-changing decision to become a mentor. The SDG Young Global Leaders is a 7-week program followed by a 6-months mentorship period. The Emerging Young Leaders Accelerator (YGL) is a global leadership & entrepreneurship training for racialized young women aged 14-22 from underserved communities to develop young women, as global champions of the UN 17 Global Goals, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Program participants receive professional development training in entrepreneurship. budgeting, personal finance, marketing & branding, business plan development, and project management to list a few of the sessions. Program participants are required to complete weekly deliverables in preparation for the program finale. At the end of the program, each program participants presented their business or social project to solve 1 of the 17 UN Global Goals. Following the development of their business idea, they are matched with a professional mentor to assist them in developing their business and project further.

We are seeking professionals with a range of skills and experiences to match our program graduates. Mentorship requirements include the following:

1. One-Hour mentorship session per month with the paired mentee
2. Complete The ForUsGirls Foundation SDGs Young Global Leaders Program Mentorship session plan form.
3. Commit to a 6-mentorship relationship

2. A confirmation email of matched mentee with mentorship guidelines and session form
