RSVP Harm Reduction & Narcan Training: 1/22/23

Naloxone (commonly referred to as the Lazarus drug) is a life-saving medication that is easy to use, and something every member of our community can take direct action to stop the uncontrolled drug poisonings that are taking our friends and family from us every day.

Please join us for a two hour, hands-on overdose reversal training led by Courtney of Insubordination Station. There will be demonstrations on how to identifyand respond to an overdose, how to administer both intramuscular naloxone and nasal Narcan, and the importance of aftercare for the first responder.

Provided: basic education on harm reduction supplies, best practices for initiating conversations with PWUD (people who use drugs), and various other methods that absolutely anyone can incorporate into their daily lives. Participants will receive free supplies to take home.

The workshop will be in-person at Wrong Brain Headquarters on Sunday, January 22 at 10am and should conclude by noon. HQ is located down a flight of stairs. It will also be streamed via Zoom if you cannot make it in-person - link will be emailed once you RSVP.
