PAPERWORK: In order to participate in the tryout, you will need all forms completed online and will also will need to have a physical on file at East High School. Below are the instructions as to how to access these papers. If you do not have a computer at home, please see the secretary in the Athletic Office and she can schedule a time for you to become registered. Go to the Duluth East High School home page (
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q0RQw5x5yqnMes3EUWZonWM61mr5O0D_MaWWe1Scmd8/copy). Then, under the tab “Activities/Athletics” at the top of the page, click on “Activities Registration”. You will then follow the step by step process to completing the forms. REMEMBER: Without the forms, you will not be able to participate in the tryout.

PHYSICAL: All players intending to tryout MUST have a current physical ON FILE at EHS.
Each student must still complete the annual health history questionnaire.

TEAM SELECTIONS: Coaches/Independent Evaluators will select players based on a criterion far more than offensive and defensive abilities. Please use the following questions to help prepare yourself for the tryout process.
1. Do you “bring the JUICE” everyday? 2. Do you have offensive abilities? Are you able to play within an offensive system? 3. Do you have defensive abilities? Are you able to play team defense? 4. Do you show hustle and heart? Are you willing to do the dirty work? 5. Do you put others first? 6. Are you committed as a Student?
